One of the staple fun pieces to style with during summer is the kimono. While some of us feel they are slightly adventurous to pull off they are actually an easy, fun, transitional piece to throw on over any basic summer attire. Here I am rocking an open-work beige Kimono that I absolutely fell head-over-heels for whilst browsing through the isles of the H&M conscious collection. I have it thrown over a red silk 20’s era reminiscent shift dress that I bought from Reiss a few years back.
To complete the look, i have incorporated another Asian inspired element as I accessorize with a statement metal handcrafted bag from Tibet. The Tibet bag is available at the lovely online Brooklyn based boutique Coco London Brooklyn. The ethnic handcraft detailing of this bag is immaculate and I am particularly in love with the plush violet interior that adds a fun element of surprise.

A girl could never have enough white tops. In a closet of my dreams I would have endless amounts of white tops in designated sections labeled according to style, cut and fabric weight! Until then I continue to build my white top collection slowly but surely. A week ago I came across a boutique owner called Coco who introduced me to this attractive white top with embroidered sleeve net detailing that she carries in her online boutique Coco London Brooklyn. Coco’s philosophy is “ Style shouldn’t break the bank.” Yes…Amen Coco!
Here I pair the embroidered Fish Net Trim Top with a fitted pair of Checked Navy “Slacks” (I am amused by recently having learnt this word). These slacks are ideally lightweight and equally stylish for the Manhattan summer work attire followed by post work happy hour rendezvous.
I accessorize with my new favorite nude sandals from Zara. They manage to just pull everything together in an effortless manner. I like to think I’m the only one who has them.
The last accents of accessories include half-baked sunglasses by YSL, a violet patent bow satchel by Zac by Zac Posen, and a Crystal Necklace by Coast.
