Here I decided to do a style post where I create an outfit from bits and pieces of items that I already own – an exercise we sometimes get lazy to preform. However when doing so, we ultimately uncover hidden gems we already own in our closets.
I am wearing a vintage dress that I bought a year ago from a store in Boston called the Garment District. It is a 50’s era pastel floral printed long sleeved A-line midi. I decided to give the dress a little twist when styling to make it more attainable to our modern era via accessorizing. I am wearing a black chiffon bow belt from H&M to add that definition at the waist and to give the dress some color- blocking and character. I decided to wear my hair in a French braid, which is my go to hairstyle in humid weather and gives the look a fun new edge. I finish off with silver metallic pumps from Karen Millen and black clutch and sunglasses.
